CAD Draughtsman
West Sussex - Salary TBC
We are seeking a CAD Draughtsman for a petrochemical engineering company in West Sussex.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide layouts, general arrangement and detail drawings in Solid Works in full accordance with company standards and clients’ project specifications.
2. Work as a team member dedicated to fulfilling the project design requirements.
3. Monitor job progress within specified schedules.
4. Assist in the development of Solid Works, 3D, CAD systems and standards.
5. Check drawings.
6. Review and comment on/approve seller drawings.
7. Liaise with sub-contractors with regard to contracted-out drawings.
8. Maintain drawing office records.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Experience of SolidWorks (5+ years) is essential. Previous work in the Oil and Gas Industry is essential unless transferable experience can be demonstrated. A keen forward thinking attitude is required for problem solving. The successful candidate will hold a degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on 3D Computer Aided Design.
